Panchayat season 3: The critically acclaimed web series 'Panchayat' will return our handheld screens in May 28. Fans are already expecting a laugh riot after the trailer of the upcoming season dropped today. We will see Jitendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav, and Neena Gupta reprise their popular roles in the series. The last two seasons have been lauded by viewers and critics and now the eyes are on season 3 of 'Panchayat'. As we eagerly wait for the upcoming season, let's have a closer look at the filmography of the 'Panchayat' cast who gave us some of the most memorable characters from the slew of OTT shows. 

Faisal Malik as Prahladchand

The actor, who plays the fan-favourite Prahladchand, has been in the film industry for almost a decade. Before ‘Panchayat’ he has worked as an assistant director, reality show producer, and line producer in many projects. Malik also had a small role in the  2012 film Gangs of Wasseypur. Inrestingly, he has co-produced film like ‘Revolver Rani’ and ‘Main aur Charles’.

Chandan Roy as Vikas

Chandan Roy initially worked as a journalist but he was also associated with a theatre group. After working for a couple of years, he decided to quit his job and moved to Mumbai in 2017 to pursue his career in acting. The actor started his journey with daily soaps until he got his breakthrough role in Panchayat season 1. Later, he went on to star in shows like ‘Choona’ and Shehar Lakhot’. He also had a brief stint in Manoj Bajpayee starrer ‘Gulmohar’.

Durgesh Kumar as Bhushan aka Banrakas 

Durgesh Kumar, who made his mark as a grumpy villager in the show, has spent a decade in the film industry. Kumar embarked on his acting journey at the National School of Drama( NSD) and got his debut role in Imtiaz Ali’s film ‘Highway’. After playing small roles in films like ‘Sultan’, ‘Freaky Ali’, ‘Sanju’ and many more, he landed his iconic role as Bhushan in the acclaimed web series. The actor was recently seen in the Kiran Rao directed ‘Laapataa Ladies’ and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Bhakshak’.

Sunita Rajwar as Kranti Devi

Sunita Rajwar, who has appeared in several Bollywood movies over the years, made her big screen debut with the film ‘Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon’ in 2003. Later, she featured in brief roles in films such as  ‘Bala’, ‘Kedarnath,  ‘Stree’ and many others. Before venturing into the digital space, she also appeared in many daily soaps until she landed a role in the comedy series Gullak’, which won her a Filmfare OTT Award for Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She won many hearts with her quirky role and later appeared in the second season of ‘Panchayat’ in 2022.

Sanvikaa as Rinki

The actor rose to fame after featuring as Rinki in the web series 'Panchayat'. Sanvikaa completed her engineering degree but never wante to pursue a corporate career. To make her dreams come true, she flew down to Mumbai to try her luck. Sanvikaa reportedly did not inform her family that she was moving to Mumbai to join the entertainment industry.
