Karan Johar Unveils Nadaaniyan’s First Song Featuring Ibrahim Ali Khan And Khushi Kapoor

During the Next On Netflix event, the duo launched the track from the film, which is directed by Shauna Gautam.

Nadaaniyan First Song Out

Karan Johar posted the song on social media, writing, “Inke ishq mein…sab hone wale hai! Introducing Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, in this love story for a new generation. Nadaaniyan is coming soon, only on Netflix.”

The song Ishq Mein from 'Nadaaniyan' has been composed by the talented duo Sachin-Jigar, with vocals by Sachet Tandon, Asees Kaur, and Sachin-Jigar, while Amitabh Bhattacharya penned the lyrics. ‘Nadaaniyan’ will mark Ibrahim Ali Khan's Bollywood debut.

Karan Johar on Ibrahim Ali Khan's debut film

Filmmaker Karan Johar, during the 2025 Netflix slate announcement, shared his excitement about his new film production. The romantic drama, backed by Dharma Productions, will be released directly on Netflix. Johar described the film as showcasing a "new face of romance," expressing his joy in presenting this young, fun, high-energy movie. He praised the chemistry between the lead actors, saying it gave him a sense of FOMO about being young again.

Directed by Shauna Gautam, Nadaaniyan revolves around a South Delhi diva and a middle-class overachiever who hatch an outrageous plan to hire a fake boyfriend to save the diva's squad. However, real feelings complicate their plan. 

‘Nadaaniyan’ is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Misra under Dharmatic Entertainment. The film also features Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj in pivotal roles, adding a strong ensemble cast to this romantic drama.
