One of the standout moments of Netflix's docu-series 'The Roshans' is the revelation of a life-threatening stunt that Hrithik performed while filming Krrish.

Netflix’s docu-series 'The Roshans' unveils the untold stories and challenges that have shaped the Roshans' legacy in Indian cinema. The series focuses not just on Hrithik Roshan but also on Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan, and Hrithik's grandfather, the legendary Roshan. From Hrithik's early days in the industry to his evolution into a leading star, The Roshans dives deep into the actor’s commitment to his craft and the hurdles he has overcome along the way.
One of the standout moments of the docu-series is the revelation of a life-threatening stunt that Hrithik performed while filming Krrish. In docu-series, Rakesh Roshan, and veteran stunt coordinator Sham Kaushal opened up about the chilling accident that occurred during the film’s shoot.
Sham Kaushal narrates about the moment
Sham Kaushal, who was overseeing the action sequences, recounted the terrifying moment, saying, “We were shooting in Singapore, with Hrithik running over cars and crossing bridges to chase the villain escaping in a helicopter. Here's an anecdote...” He continued, “There’s a tall building in Singapore near a market where Hrithik had to climb to the top and run. There was a harness in place for safety. Hrithik was practising up there, and suddenly, right before our eyes, he slipped off.”
Rakesh Roshan, who directed Krrish, shared his side of the story, “Before I could even stand up, the cable snapped, and he fell.”

Hrithik described his harrowing fall in his own words, recalling, “A small shop had set up a canopy, and I fell right in the centre of it. I didn’t even hit the rods that were separating...”
Rakesh, visibly shaken, added, “I was stunned. My heart just stopped.”
Hrithik continued, “I disappeared behind a tree, and my dad thought... ‘He’s gone.’ As soon as I realised what had happened, I did a quick mental check... ‘Do I feel pain? Am I okay?’ Then, I raised my hand to let the crew know I was fine.”
Hrithik continued the shoot despite fall
Despite the traumatic experience, Hrithik was determined to continue. When Rakesh suggested calling it a day, Hrithik refused. “If we pack up now, this fear will stay with me,” he said.
The following day, as Hrithik went back to filming, he confessed that fear still lingered. “It was hard to put it behind me, but the vision of that shot kept me going,” Hrithik admitted.
With four episodes, each running approximately an hour, The Roshans is currently streaming on Netflix.
