Apoorva Mukhija Opens Up About Life After The Traitors: 'Mujhe Shaadi Karni Hai'

Reality star Apoorva Mukhija reveals her post-The Traitors plans include marriage and stepping away from the spotlight. Read what she had to say.

Social media personality and reality TV contestant Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, has opened up about what comes next for her once The Traitors wraps up. In a recent candid moment captured in a video by Varinder Chawla, Apoorva declared that she’s ready to step away from reality shows and step into a new chapter, marriage.

Apoorva on relationship status

Speaking with her trademark wit and honesty, Apoorva said, “Mujhe shaadi karni hai. Please koi meri shaadi kara do. Genuinely, kyuki ab main aur video nahi banana chah rahi. Thak gayi hoon main.” She added that she’s not interested in continuing with reality television for the time being: “Aur reality TV shows bhi I don’t think I should do after this. I should calm down for a little while.”

Her humorous remark about her current relationship status drew chuckles online. When asked whether there was someone special in her life, she replied, “No. I’m single, I don’t even talk to anybody… I have zero boys… It’s going great, my hunt for this boyfriend… Mujhe swayamvar kar lena chahiye.”

Experience on The Traitors and post-show response

Apoorva is currently competing in The Traitors, an Indian reality series hosted by Karan Johar. In a conversation with ANI, she explained that her participation in the show happened before the widely reported India’s Got Latent controversy.

“I did the show before the controversy, so it couldn’t have affected me. But had I done it after the controversy, I would have been a little bit mellower, more careful with my words,” she admitted. “I felt like I went all out because I had nothing to lose back then. And I was a much smaller artist.”

Now riding a wave of support from audiences, Apoorva is grateful for the unexpected love she’s received. “I think I played the game with all my heart and all of my brain cells combined… I’m just so, so, so happy that through the show, I could do that. And the kind of love that I’ve gotten is just immense. It feels absolutely surreal,” she said.

As she steps back to reflect and plan the next chapter of her life, fans are rooting for her — whether it’s on screen or at her swayamvar.
