New Delhi: Neetu Kapoor on Sunday shared an emotional post on Instagram with a black and white photo of her husband and late actor Rishi Kapoor. Neetu wrote that she is missing the actor.

Sharing a picture of Rishi Kapoor with his eyes closed and a finger on his lips, Neetu wrote, “Miss your noise (red heart emoticon) it’s too quiet (confused face emoji).”

Soon after her post, a host of celebrities including Anushka Sharma, Saba Ali Khan, Huma Qureshi, commented on the post. Saba Ali Khan commented on the post, “Lots of love.” Anushka Sharma, Huma Qureshi, Maniesh Paul, Gaurav Kapur and designer Manish Malhotra shared heart emojis in the comments section. Producer Tanujj Garg wrote, “Awwwww.”

Many users also commented on the post. One user wrote, “He is living in our hearts forever.” “He is always around you. Your souls are connected and can communicate at all times. Just close your eyes and feel his presence.” Another said, “Eternal love. More peace and love for you,” wrote another.

Last month, Neetu had shared a post on Rishi Kapoor's birth anniversary. She had shared a throwback picture of them and wrote “happy birthday”.

On the work front, Neetu was last seen in JugJugg Jeeyo along with Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani. She was also one of the judges in the dance reality shoe Dance Deewane Juniors.

Earlier in an interview, Neetu had revealed that she gets trolled for posting pictures on Instagram after Rishi Kapoor’s death.

In a conversation with Anupama Chopra on Film Companion, she said, “I do it just because I love it. I enjoy it. I love my followers. I just block the ones who troll me. I just block them. Because you know hote hain thode bahut beech mein ki 'husband mar gaya, ye enjoy kar rahi hai (there are some who say things like her husband is dead and she is enjoying).' They want to see that crying widow type. There's a section of people, but I just block them. I say this is the way I want to be, this is the way I will be."

She added, "This is the way I will heal. Some people cry and heal, some laugh and heal. I cannot forget my husband. He'll be here, with me, with my children all our lives. Even today when we meet for a meal, half of the time you're only discussing him, that is how we miss him. Ranbir still has his picture on his screensaver. That's the way we miss him, but we don't have to be sad to miss him. We can celebrate him. We can remember him for good times and what a great person he was."

Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020 after a long battle with cancer.
