Munawar Faruqui And Nazila Unfollow Each Other On Instagram, Spark Breakup Rumours

Comedian and Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui has reportedly broken up with social media influencer Nazila.

New Delhi: Comedian and Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui has been open about dating social media influencer Nazila. After winning the reality show Lock Upp, Munawar had announced his relationship with Nazlia. They have also appeared in a music video titled Halki Si Barsaat. Recent rumours suggest that there is trouble in paradise and the couple might have broken up. They have also unfollowed each other on Instagram.

According to a report in Bombay Times, the couple broke up recently for unknown reasons. The report also stated that Munawar refused to comment about his relationship as of now. A source close to the couple told Bombay Times, “The two have called it quits. Recently they decided to not be together anymore. They have also unfollowed each other on Instagram and other social media platforms."

During his stint in Lock Upp, Munawar’s chemistry with fellow contestant Anjali Arora often became on the show and among the viewers. The standup comedian didn't reveal anything about his relationship status during the show.

Earlier, in an interview with India Today, he had spoken about why he kept his relationship a secret. “I am very protective about my family, friends, and close ones. I have kept them away from social media. I have become a little vocal and expressive after doing this show. I felt that I need to be honest with the people who love me. I have been in a relationship with Nazila for six months now, I felt like sharing the news with my loved ones. We have been together for six months but know each other for a year. She has helped me in my lows and was always there for me. I am really thankful and that’s one of the reasons we thought we are good for each other. It is going great,” he was quoted as saying by India Today.

The two had started dating in December last year.
