New Delhi: Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri claims he is not a participant in the "Bollywood game" and does not, therefore, believe in concepts like box office competition. When asked on Twitter about the competition between his next movie The Vaccine War and Shah Rukh Khan's action flick Jawan, the director said that Jawan will undoubtedly be a "all-time blockbuster."
Shah Rukh Khan starrer high-octane action drama, that already has the audience on the edge with its power-packed prevue, is scheduled to hit theatres on September 7. 'The Vaccine War' will be released on September 28 and will have a face-off with Prabhas starrer much-awaited another action flick 'Salaar.'
On being asked by a Twitter user to release his film on the same date as 'Jawan' if he has the guts, Vivek Agnihotri, who gained worldwide acclaim for his film 'The Kashmir Files', said, "We aren’t in Bollywood game and terms like ‘clash’ etc. are for stars and media. I can guarantee S RK’s Jawan will be an all-time blockbuster. But after seeing it please also see our small film about India’s greatest victory in a war you know nothing about."

When another Twitter used suggested him to avoid clash with 'Salaar', the filmmaker replied, "Clash is always between titans. We are very different. #TheVaccineWar is a small, content driven film for the family audience. You would love to show it young children. He will be proud of India and its WOMEN scientists."
The Vaccine War is being made on a budget of Rs 10 crore, lesser than Agnihotri's last hit 'The Kashmir Files.'
