Rhea Chakraborty Appears Before ED After Her Plea Gets Rejected

Rhea Chakraborty had asked ED that the recording of her statement be postponed till Supreme Court hearing.

Sushant Singh Rajput death case: Rhea Chakraborty has appeared at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Mumbai on Friday.  Her request to defer her statement in the money laundering case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s bank account had earlier today been rejected by the ED. She had asked that the recording of her statement be postponed till Supreme Court hearing. Rhea Chakraborty, Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput's  girlfriend, is accused of abetting his suicide. Check all details about allegations against Rhea Chakraborty here Rhea Chakraborty Appears Before ED After Her Plea Gets Rejected It is pertinent to note that Rhea's statement will be recorded under Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), which will be valid even in SC hearing. Rhea's advocate Satish Maneshinde had earlier in the day said that she would not appear before the ED, till the Supreme Court hears her plea. She had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking for the case lodged by the Bihar police against her to be transferred to the Mumbai police. Sushant's sister's reaction:  As soon as the reports of Rhea's appearance before ED were out, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta tweeted "Har Har Mahadev," in an indirect attack at Rhea.
