Rhea Chakraborty Gets Bail In Drugs Case By Bombay High Court

After spending a complete month behind bars inside Byculla jail, Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail by the Bombay High Court on Wednesday, October 7. The 28-year-old actress was arrested under various sections of NDPS on September 8 in connection with a drugs case related to death case of actor and her live-in partner Sushant Singh Rajput. The Bombay High Court while granting the bail to the 'Jalebi' actress said that Rhea should mark her presence for 10 days in police station after release, deposit her passport, not travel abroad without court permission and inform investigating officer if she has to leave Greater Mumbai. The High Court listed five condition that Rhea Chakraborty has to abide to post getting released from the jail. Here are the five conditions:

1. Deposit Passport: Rhea Chakraborty must submit her passport to the court.
2. Not Allowed to Travel Outside Country: The court in its verdict said that before traveling outside the country, Rhea will have to get permission from the court.
3. Mark Presence in Police Station: Rhea Chakraborty will have to report to the Mumbai Police for 10 days and the NCB will have to be present whenever Riya is called.
4. Bailable Bond: Rhea has to furnish a personal bond of Rs. 1 lakh
5. No Meeting Other Witnesses: Rhea won't be allowed to meet other witnesses. She has also been asked not to leave Mumbai without informing the Narcotics Control Bureau.

The NCB had arrested Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and others in connection with a drugs case related to Sushant's death case. The drugs law enforcement agency arrested her for allegedly procuring and financing drugs for the 'Raabta' actor. Rhea, who was arrested on September 8, spent 28 days in custody. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Bandra on June 14. Three Central agencies- the CBI, the ED and the NCB are investigating the high-profile case
