Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Human Rights Commission Interrogates Dean Of Cooper Hospital On Rhea Chakraborty’s Entry In The Mortuary

Earlier, the HRCM had sent a notice to the Cooper Hospital and the Mumbai Police for allowing the actress to enter the mortuary of the hospital.

Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik on Monday once again appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation's Special Investigation Team (SIT) for another round of questioning in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Rhea and Showik arrived at the DRDO guesthouse for the fourth consecutive day. Meanwhile according to reports, the Human Rights Commission of Maharashtra is also questioning the senior officials of Cooper Hospital, including its dean and head of the department about Rhea Chakraborty’s presence in the mortuary where the late actor’s mortal remains were kept. Earlier, the HRCM had sent a notice to the Cooper Hospital and the Mumbai Police for allowing the actress to enter the mortuary of the hospital. Reportedly, she had spent around 45 minutes inside the hospital morgue and said ‘sorry babu’ on seeing Sushant’s body for one last time. Rhea Chakraborty was snapped at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. On a related note, Rhea Chakraborty has been questioned by the CBI for over 25 hour in last three days. On Friday she was questioned for over 10 hours, seven hours on Saturday and eight hours on Sunday. Following the Supreme Court's nod, the CBI arrived in Mumbai after they registered a case on the Centre's orders on August 6 following the complaint of Sushant's father K.K. Singh in a Patna police station on July 25. CBI has till date questioned Sushant's flatmate Siddharth Pithani, personal staff Neeraj Singh, Dipesh Sawant and others.
