SRK, KJo, Arjun Kapoor to host the very first Lux Golden Rose Awards

New Delhi: Can you imagine the temperature of a stage when Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor will be on it together?

The Lux Golden Rose Awards, to celebrate and recognize beauty, style and glamour of iconic Bollywood actors, will be hosted by the three icons of Bollywood.

The first of its kind, the event is set to take place in November and will witness a colorful conglomeration of Bollywood stars.

Talking about the Award event, SRK said, "I have always enjoyed my association with Lux, and this marks a very big step for them. The women of Bollywood will be felicitated for their glamorous portrayal of characters which we all have loved, and it feels great to be hosting and supporting the same."

Fans and connoisseurs of the Indian film industry are abuzz with anticipation for this new step which honours Bollywood actresses for portraying versatility with zest.

The nominees in the various categories will be determined by a panel from within the film fraternity. This is the very first time that an award will celebrate the women of Bollywood, recognizing them for the beautiful, glamorous and gutsy characters they have portrayed on the silver screen.

The jury members for the Lux Golden Rose Awards are well established personalities and are highly regarded in the Indian Film industry, including internationally loved fashion designer couple Falguni and Shane Peacock, fashion icon and diva Malaika Arora Khan, versatile Bollywood playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan, Bollywood's top make-up artist Mickey Contractor, renowned choreographer Shiamak Davar and celebrated Indian fashion designer Neeta Lulla.

The event will be held at Reliance Studios, Film City in Mumbai on November 12.
