Director Rohit Shetty has officially announced that his 2011 hit film 'Singham,’ featuring Ajay Devgn, will make its return to theatres on October 18. This re-release comes just ahead of the highly anticipated Diwali launch of the third installment in the series, ‘Singham Again.’

Shetty took to social media to share the exciting news, posting a motion poster of ‘Singham’ along with a message that read, “Before he comes with his full force on Diwali. Experience how it all began again. Experience the mass again. Experience the euphoria again. Experience 'SINGHAM' once more before 'SINGHAM AGAIN'!”

According to a press release, the decision to bring 'Singham' back to cinemas was made in response to a wave of fan demand. Many are eager to revisit the action-packed blockbuster on the big screen before the release of 'Singham Again.'
Ajay Devgn will return as the fearless and principled police officer, Bajirao Singham, in the upcoming film, continuing his battle against corruption and injustice.
About Singham Again
The 'Singham' franchise, which began with the 2011 film and was followed by 'Singham Returns' in 2014, laid the foundation for Shetty's popular cop universe. This universe also includes Akshay Kumar's character in 'Sooryavanshi' and Ranveer Singh's in 'Simmba,' both of whom are will appear in 'Singham Again.' Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff are the two additions to the Shetty cop universe, who will be seen in ‘Singham Again.’
Singham Again also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff.
Arjun Kapoor on playing villain in Singham Again
Arjun Kapoor, who is playing a negative character in the film, said that he might be the antagonist in the movie, said he is genuinely overwhelmed and incredibly grateful for this opportunity.
“I might be the antagonist in this film, playing the role of the ‘danger,’ but at heart, I’m still that young boy who fell in love with cinema, who used to dream about being part of projects like this. This journey has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career, and being a part of such a powerhouse team is truly a privilege.
