Shehnaaz Gill Blocked Salman Khan's Number When He Called Her For 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan'
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' star cast will soon be appearing on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' and a promo clip from the upcoming episode was about a massive revelation made by Shehnaaz Gill.
New Delhi: Shehnaaz Gill will soon be making her debut in Salman Khan starrer 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. It is a known fact that Shehnaaz Gill is on good terms with Salman Khan. She bonded with the megastar during her participation in 'Bigg Boss 13'. However, recently the 'Honsla Rakh' actor revealed that when Salman called her for the part, she had blocked his number.

Shehnaaz shared that at the time she received a call from an unknown number, she was in Amritsar and not wanting to entertain the calls at the moment, she blocked the number. Shehnaaz later found out that it was megastar Salman Khan who was calling her.
Sharing how Shehnaaz Gill bagged the role in 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', she shared, "I was in Amritsar visiting the Gurudwara when I received a call from an unknown number. And I have this habit of blocking unknown numbers, so I did the same. Then after a few minutes, I got a message that Salman sir is trying to call me. Just to verify, I put the number on the Truecaller app and found out that it was actually Salman Khan calling me! I immediately unblocked him and called him back; it was then that he offered me the film and that’s how I got the film.”

Recently, Shehnaaz Gill opened up about her experience of working in 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' and thanked Salman Khan for trusting her. "When I went to shoot for my first music video, I was rejected. I was told, ‘Ye kaunsi bachchi leke aaye hai, we don’t want to shoot with her. Take her back.’ I came back and cried a lot at home, that I’ve been rejected. My mom told me why am I crying, one day I would be in a Salman Khan film. Sir gave me a chance and proved that mom’s words always come true,” she said.
Shehnaaz Gill was last seen in Diljit Dosanjh starrer 'Honsla Rakh'. Besides Shehnaaz Gill, Pooja Hegde, Raghav Juyal, Palak Tiwari, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Sukhbir, Vinali Bhatnaga among others. 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' will be released in theaters on April 21, 2023.
