The film has been receiving a low response at the box office despite positive reviews and word of mouth. However, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' has not been able to repeat the success of Kartik and Kiara's 2022 horror-comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. The film had opened at Rs. 14.11 crores and made Rs. 92 crores by the end of the first week. The film collected Rs. 185 crores at the domestic box office.
