Satyaprem Ki Katha Box Office: Movie Becomes Second Highest Opening Weekend Grosser In Foreign Markets For Kartik Aaryan

 According to trade projections based on the current trend, the movie's business will actually increase over the course of its first week.

New Delhi: ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, premiered last week. The film, directed by Sameer Vidwans, had a successful opening weekend and had significant growth in box office receipts.

In this box office analysis, we examine Satyaprem Ki Katha's opening weekend receipts in international regions and contrast them to Kartik Aaryan's prior films. ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, which took in USD 1.40 million [Rs. 11.50 cr. ], is now Kartik's second-highest opening weekend grosser internationally. Satyaprem Ki Katha's overseas earnings surpass those of his previous releases, including Luka Chuppi ($1.13 million), Love Aaj Kal ($1.00 million), Pati Patni Aur Woh ($0.967 million), Shehzad ($0.80 million) and even Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety ($0.73 million).

Currently, Satyaprem Ki Katha continues to run in both the domestic and international markets.  According to trade projections based on the current trend, the movie's business will actually increase over the course of its first week.

The Sameer Vidwans film managed to cross Rs. 50 cr mark in the domestic market in the first week. The film has been receiving a low response at the box office despite positive reviews and word of mouth. However, 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' has not been able to repeat the success of Kartik and Kiara's 2022 horror-comedy 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. The film had opened at Rs. 14.11 crores and made Rs. 92 crores by the end of the first week. The film collected Rs. 185 crores at the domestic box office.
