Fans have been waiting for a possible reunion between filmmaker Kabir Khan and megastar Salman Khan. There has also been speculation about the two coming together to work on the film called 'Babbar Sher' but it seems that the filmmaker has put them to rest. In an interview with India Today, Kabir Khan stated that he often meets and speaks with Salman but there is no truth about the upcoming project. Kabir Khan has earlier worked with Salman on films like 'Ek Tha Tiger' and 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'.
The filmmaker cleared the air stating that Salman and his professional relationship often leads to doubts in the minds of fans about a collaboration but the discussion about 'Babbar Sher' is only rumour.

That’s unfounded. As a director, I meet actors, and we chat, and, of course, Salman is someone who has played such a strong role in my career, so I keep chatting with him. I think when I went to meet him once, that conversation happened, and that name Babbar Sher came up. I think it was an exciting name, so people picked it up. But no, there’s actually nothing right now," Kabir Khan told the publication.

Kabir Khan, who last delivered the massive hit 'Chandu Champion' with Kartik Aaryan shared that while he does have some upcoming projects in the pipeline, some of them are surprises for the audiences. "I myself don’t know what I’m going to be announcing in three months," he jokingly added.
Salman Khan’s upcoming release
On the other hand, Salman Khan will be seen alongside Rashmika Mandanna in 'Sikandar'. The action-film will be released on Eid 2025.
