Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar's '2.0' gets release date

New Delhi: Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar's highly-anticipated movie, '2.0' has finally got a release date. The flick will hit the silver screens on November 29. Film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to confirm the news. He wrote, "Rajinikanth. Akshay Kumar... #2Point0 release date finalised: 29 Nov 2018... Directed by Shankar... Music by AR Rahman... Official announcement."

Earlier, the poster of the movie gave a closer look at the Akshay's menacing avatar. Akshay, who has never donned an evil character, was seen giving intense expressions that would definitely make the fans even more excited. '2.0', which brings Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Shankar together for the first time, is a sequel of 2010 film 'Enthiran' (released in Hindi as 'Robot'). Directed by S. Shankar, the movie will witness a showdown between Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. The film also stars Amy Jackson, who plays a droid.
