It’s official! Two highly anticipated flicks will clash at the box office on Eid 2021. We are talking about ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ and ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’. John Abraham starrer ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’, which was supposed to hit the silver screens on May 14, will now release a day earlier. The makers announced the release date of the vigilante action film on Wednesday 13.

‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ will clash directly with Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’ as both the films are releasing on May 13. Movie buffs are quite excited for the box office clash between the two big ticket films.

John Abraham Shares Post To Announce ‘Satyameva Jayate’ Date

The Bollywood heartthrob, who will be next seen in ‘Mumbai Saga’, took to social media to inform the fans about the release date of ‘SJ 2’. He wrote, “This EID it’s SATYA vs JAY as LADENGE iss SAAL, Dono BHARAT MAA KE LAAL! #SatyamevaJayate2 releasing this EID on 13th May 2021.”

Abraham also shared a new poster and revealed that he is playing a double role in his much-awaited flick. Check it out!

‘Satyameva Jayate 2’, which also stars Divya Khosla Kumar and Rajeev Pillai, is the sequel to Milap Zaveri’s 2018 film. Abraham will be seen reprising his role of Virendra Rathod while Divya will portray the role of the female lead.

Talking about ‘Radhe’, the action thriller film has been directed by Prabhu Deva. The flick also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff and Gautam Gulati in key roles. The movie was originally slated to arrive in the cinema halls on Eid 2020; however, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Bollywood Box Office Clashes In 2021

John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Mumbai Saga’ will have a face-off with Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ on March 19.

Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and Prabhas-Pooja Hegde starrer ‘Radhe Shyam’ is also releasing on the same date. The two movies will hit the silver screens on July 30.

Akshay Kumar and Shahid Kapoor will also fight for supremacy when their respective films ‘Prithviraj’ and ‘Jersey’ clash on November 5. While ‘Prithviraj’ is a historical drama, ‘Jersey’ is based on cricket.
