The early statistics in Australian & New Zealand markets hint at a bumper opening as the magnum opus has already collected $16,000 prior to 7 days of release across 8 locations; surpassing that of K.G.F Chapter 2 that was $2,900 across 6 locations. Prabhas and Kriti Sanon as Raghav and Janaki pair is already a hit among audiences, furthermore with the Censor Board giving U-Certification makes ‘Adipurush’ for everyone; children will also be seen in theatres.

‘Adipurush’ is inspired by the Hindu mythological text ‘Ramayana’. It will loosely follow the incidents of the myth and tell the story of Lord Ram, Goddess Sita and the demon king Raavana in an appropriate manner to contemporary audiences.

Prabhas will be essaying the role of Raghav, Kriti Sanon will be seen as Janaki and Saif Ali Khan-as the arch nemesis, Lankesh.
