Paresh Rawal Confirms Kartik Aaryan To Star In Hera Pheri 3, Fans Demand Akshay Kumar's Return
One of the original cast members of Hera Pheri, Paresh Rawal, has confirmed that Kartik Aaryan has bagged a role in the third installment of the movie.
The 'Hera Pheri' franchise has earned a cult status as one of the most famous comedic films Bollywood has ever produced. In addition, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty have their own fan bases, making them one of the most popular trios in Hindi cinema.
The third instalment of the franchise has been eagerly anticipated by the audience so that they can once again witness the antics of this gang. Despite reports suggesting a sequel is in the works, the film's cast has not yet been confirmed. It was previously announced that John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan would be joining the cast.
Paresh Rawal recently provided an update on the movie and stated that Kartik Aaryan has joined the cast. When a twitter fan enquired about whether Aaryan had been cast in 'Hera Pheri 3', Rawal responded that the rumour was accurate.

However, the confirmation raised the speculation that Kartik Aaryan had taken Akshay Kumar's spot in the upcoming movie. Fans didn't appear particularly delighted about that possibility.

Akshay Kumar, who has been in well-known comedies like 'Welcome' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa', has carved out a place for himself in this genre. However, various reports indicate that the actor and 'Hera Pheri 3's producers are experiencing creative disagreements. “Akshay Kumar is well aware of his fans’ expectations of him in these comedy franchises. He refused to compromise on the quality of these scripts, as attempts to remake these sequels without proper thought and with other actors have already failed in the past,” Pinkvilla quoted its source as saying.
The next films starring Akshay Kumar are 'Selfiee' and 'Oh My God! 2', both of which are scheduled for release in 2023.
