Sharing the new poster, Akshay wrote on Instagram, “Bas kuch dino mein (coming in few days) OMG 2 in theatres on August 11. Teaser drops soon.”

In the poster, Akshay Kumar is seen in the getup of Lord Shiva Akshay wearing a wig and a blue paint on his neck. He also has ash smeared on his forehead and sports kohled eyes.
Apart from this Akshay also shared the first look of Pankaj Tripathi in another post. Sharing Tripathi’s first look, he wrote, “मिलते हैं सच्चाई की राह पर 🙌 #OMG2 in theatres on August 11! Teaser drops soon.”

'OMG 2' has been written and directed by Amit Rai and also stars Yami Gautam. The film is the second installment of 'Oh My God!', which was released in 2012. The satirical comedy-drama film was based on the Gujarati stage-play Kanji Virudh Kanji, which itself was inspired by the Billy Connolly film The Man Who Sued God.
'Oh My God 2' is set against the backdrop of sex education in India.
The film will clash with another sequel - Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starter 'Gadar 2'. The film is a sequel of the 2001 blockbuster 'Gadar' starring the two as the lead.
Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starter 'Animal' was also scheduled to be releases on August 11, but on Monday the film's director Sandeep Reddy Vanga took to social media to announce the new release date of the film. He gave the reasons behind the delay and shared that the film will now release on December 1.
