Nana Patekar to soon introduce '24' season 2 to you

New Delhi: The 'Welcome' jodi, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor, is all set to be back with the second season of TV series '24.' The 59-year-old 'jhakkas' actor, who plays the lead, Jai Singh Rathod, took to his Twitter handle to share the news along with a snap. "The unmistakable voice of #NanaPatekar will introduce you to #24IndiaS2 soon! So grateful to this incredible man!" he tweeted. Directed by Abhinay Deo, the first season that spanned over 24 episodes was aired from 4 October, 2013 through 21 December, 2013 and was based on the American series of the same name. Anil, who had previously featured in the American version of the drama as President Omar Hassan, bought the official rights of ' 24' in November, 2011. The second season will depict the mission of saving the country from a tragedy and later, exposing the culprits involved in the planning and executing that tragedy. The new star cast includes Sakshi Tanwar, Surveen Chawla, Sikander Kher (in negative role), Madhurima Tuli, Asish Vidyarthi among others.
