Mumbai: Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sardar Udham’, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on October 16, has received an amazing response from the audience. The biographical film co-starring Banita Sandhu has managed to earn critical acclaim. Several Bollywood celebs have also praised Vicky and the team for delivering a well-crafted movie.

Katrina Kaif, who is rumoured to be dating Vicky Kaushal, appreciated the actor for his power-packed performance in the film. She shared a post on social media after attending the special screening of ‘Sardar Udham’.  

Kaif called Kaushal a ‘pure talent’ while heaping praises on him and Shoojit Sircar. “@shoojitsircar what a vision, such a gripping beautiful film, pure unadulterated storytelling - @vickykaushal09 is just pure talent, raw, honest, heartbreaking,” she wrote on her Instagram story. 

Bollywood Celebs Who Attended 'Sardar Udham' Screening

Makers of 'Sardar Udham' organised multiple screenings of the movie ahead of its release. The likes of Angad Bedi, Sara Ali Khan, Amrita Singh, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani attended the screening in Mumbai. Late Irrfan Khan's wife Sutapa Sikdar and son Babil Khan were also snapped at one of the screenings.

'Sardar Udham' Story Cast

‘Sardar Udham’ is based on the life of the revolutionary freedom fighter, who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer to avenge the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. The cast and crew wrapped up the shoot in Europe in December 2019.
