Mumbai: The title of one of the upcoming projects of Kartik Aaryan Satyanarayan Ki Katha allegedly hurt the sentiments of some people. After the title of the movie was announced last month, it created an outrage on social media.
The makers of Satyanarayan Ki Katha have decided to change its title to ‘avoid hurting sentiments’. They announced the update in a statement that read, “A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film ‘Satyanarayan ki Katha’ to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that’s purely unintentional. Producers of the film and the creative team also are in complete support of this decision. We will be announcing a new title for our love story in the due course of our journey.”

Kartik Aaryan also reposted the official statement on behalf of the director Sameer Vidwans on his Instagram.

On a related note, Kartik Aaryan was also in the news after Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions announced his exit from the upcoming film ‘Dostana 2’. The production house revealed in an official statement that the movie will be re-cast.
Meanwhile, other than ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’, Kartik Aaryan will also be seen starring in ‘Dhamaka’ in a lead role. He will also be seen featuring in ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ alongside Tabu and Kiara Advani.
