'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' First Look: Ranveer Singh Turns 'Gujju' For Divyang Thakkar's Film!

A humorous entertainer set in Gujarat, Ranveer Singh's 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' is being produced by Maneesh Sharma & will be directed by debutant Divyang Thakkar.

After giving back-to-back super hits like 'Padmaavat', 'Simmba' and 'Gully Boy', Ranveer Singh is on a roll and has multiple interesting films in his kitty. After wrapping up cricketer Kapil Dev's biopic titled ''83', Ranveer Singh is all set to reunite with 'Yash Rah Films' with his upcoming film titled 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar'. As the title suggests, Ranveer Singh will be seen playing the role of a Gujarati in 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' and the actor's first look from the much-awaited film is out now. Ranveer Singh took to his social media account today (4th December) and shared the first look of 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' with his fans. 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' first look indicates that the film will champion the cause of women empowerment. Ranveer is seen in a leak look and has shed many kilos for the film. The film will helmed by debutant writer-director Divyang Thakkar. A humorous entertainer set in Gujarat, 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' is being produced by YRF's homegrown producer Maneesh Sharma, who also discovered Divyang. Coming back to Ranveer Singh, the 'Befikre' star has also signed Karan Johar's multi-starrer 'Takht' apart from ''83' and 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar'. Helmed by KJo, 'Takht' is a period drama which is expected to hit the big screens in 2020 and also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
