The 'Adipurush' makers is accused of coping a Marvel movie while depicting Raavan's Lanka.
New Delhi: The 'Adipurush' movie, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has been hounded by controversy ever since it was announced, and now it is under fire for the dialogues. The film has already come under fire for its VFX/CGI, plot, casting, and other elements. The most recent allegation added to the list is that the makers of the movie copied a Marvel movie.
Fans are drawing comparisons between the Om Raut's movie and Chris Hemsworth's Thor from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Internet users have also alleged that parts of the film's sequences were lifted directly from the superhero flick. They posted pictures from the Hollywood superhero film and memes were posted to Twitter and Instagram.
Here is what fans had to say:
The makers of Adipurush are so lazy and miser that they made Lanka look black coloured hell instead of golden to save on VFX resources. Instead of recreating pushpak viman, they used Unreal Engine default objects like Games of Throne look-alike dragon and Asgard from Thor pic.twitter.com/EoBhsedbAa

Recently, Hindu Mahasabha filed a police complaint in Lucknow against the film's producers and actors after a group of protesters tore the movie's posters in Varanasi. In the temple town of Mathura, a Hindu group similarly organised a protest in front of a theatre.
Meanwhile, in response to the film's poor reviews, director Om Raut said that Ramayan is "impossible" for anybody to fully comprehend and that those who claim to do so are "either fools or liars."
However, the film is doing well at the box office and has earned over Rs 300 crore worldwide. 'Adipurush', which is based on the 'Ramayana', stars Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh. It was released to a blockbuster response and mixed reviews on June 16.
