Actor Abhimanyu Singh, known for his versatile roles in Bollywood, is now going to play a diligent police inspector in Director Sharvan Tiwari's gripping crime thriller 'Cocaine'. The movie  Cocaine delves into the perilous world of drug cartels and their interplay with law enforcement. Set in the bustling metropolis of Mumbai, the film explores themes of corruption, loyalty, and survival through the eyes of its protagonist, Jalal, portrayed by Abhimanyu Singh himself.

About the film

Cocaine is a gripping crime thriller that delves deep into the murky intersection of law enforcement and criminality. Set against the vibrant yet perilous backdrop of Mumbai, the story revolves around a powerful drug cartel that wields significant control over the cocaine trade with the connivance of corrupt police officials and politicians.

Abhimanyu Singh is playing  diligent police inspector who finds himself entangled in the cartel’s sinister web. Despite his best efforts to stay above board, Jalal must go to extreme lengths to protect his own brother, who is targeted by the ruthless cartel. As Jalal navigates the perilous dualities of upholding the law while safeguarding his family, he becomes ensnared in a dangerous game of survival.

Caught in a relentless spin of violence, betrayal, and moral ambiguity, Jalal faces tremendous sacrifices in his quest to extricate himself and his loved ones from the cartel's grasp. Cocaine portrays a riveting tale of resilience and the high cost of justice, set in the heart of Mumbai's crime underworld.

Abhimanyu Singh on Cocaine

Abhimanyu Singh, widely recognized in Bollywood for his versatile roles, now His wife, Sargam Singh, ventured into film production. With Cocaine, she unveils her first film as a producer. 

Speaking about their new venture, Sargam said that We have been thinking about starting our production house and waiting for the right project. When we came across Cocaine, we took it up because the film is apt for OTT platforms and resonates with today's youth, highlighting how they are being trapped in this dark world.

Abhimanyu Singh Shared “I am playing a role of police inspector. Its too early to talk about in detail. Cocaine is film in with most unexpected twist and turn ,Just wait and watch."

Produced under the banner of JAHN Studio, in association with Amelie Films, Cocaine is produced by Jagat Gandhi, Divyesh Doshi, and Sargam Singh. The film is directed by Shravan Tiwari, who also penned the story, screenplay, and dialogue. The lyrics are written by Nawab Arzoo, with cinematography by Pradeep M Gupta and a background score by Kunal Karan. The film has been shot at various locations in Mumbai and Dubai.
