About Chhava
Directed by Laxman Utekar, 'Chhava' is a historical drama based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the legendary Indian warrior-king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film promises to be a grand spectacle, with Rashmika Mandanna playing Yeshubai Bhosle, the wife of Sambhaji Maharaj. The cast also includes Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles.
The film is slated for a theatrical release on December 6, 2024, setting up a major box office clash with Allu Arjun's highly anticipated 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'.
