Directed by Anand Tiwari of 'Bandish Bandits' fame, 'Bad Newz' is a Dharma Productions venture. The buzz began last year when several photos of Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri went viral during their shoot in Croatia. In these photos, Vicky was seen holding Triptii close for a song sequence, and in another, he was lifting the 'Animal' star in his arms. The film is set for a theatrical release on July 19.

Triptii Dimri is currently riding high on the success of 'Animal,' released in December 2023, where she starred opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Their on-screen chemistry was widely appreciated.
