Bad Newz trailer: The highly anticipated trailer for 'Bad Newz,' starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, has just been unveiled, sparking excitement among fans. This new film promises to deliver the same blend of humour and heartfelt moments as 'Good Newwz,' which featured stars like Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, and Diljit Dosanjh.

Bad newz trailer

The movie, featuring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk, guarantees a mix of comedy and emotionally stirring scenes. The trailer hints at an intriguing storyline that primarily focuses on Triptii Dimri’s character. She faces a perplexing situation after discovering her pregnancy without knowing the father’s identity. The potential fathers are 'hero number 1' Akhil Chaddha, portrayed by Vicky Kaushal, and 'hero number 2' played by Ammy Virk. Akhil is depicted as a boisterous Punjabi, while Ammy's character is more reserved.

Upon her best friend’s advice, played by Neha Dhupia, Triptii's character convinces the two men to undergo a paternity test. In a surprising twist revealed in the trailer, the test results show that both men are the fathers due to an extremely rare scientific phenomenon. The film follows the comedic and chaotic journey of these three characters as they navigate their unusual situation.

Directed by Anand Tiwari of 'Bandish Bandits' fame, 'Bad Newz' is a Dharma Productions venture. The buzz began last year when several photos of Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri went viral during their shoot in Croatia. In these photos, Vicky was seen holding Triptii close for a song sequence, and in another, he was lifting the 'Animal' star in his arms. The film is set for a theatrical release on July 19.

Triptii Dimri's projects

Triptii Dimri is currently riding high on the success of 'Animal,' released in December 2023, where she starred opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Their on-screen chemistry was widely appreciated. Besides 'Bad Newz,' Triptii will appear in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' with Kartik Aaryan and has also completed shooting for 'Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Voh Wala Video' with Rajkummar Rao. She is also rumored to star in 'Aashiqui 3' alongside Kartik Aaryan.

Vicky Kaushal's projects

Vicky Kaushal, last seen in 'Sam Bahadur,' has a busy slate ahead. Along with 'Bad Newz,' he will star in 'Chhava,' a period drama where he will share the screen with Rashmika Mandanna. This film is expected to explore the bravery, sacrifice, and wartime strategies of Sambhaji Maharaj while weaving in an emotional love story between him and his wife.
