Drugs On Cruise Ship Case: NCB SIT Summons SRK's Son Aryan Khan For Questioning
A Special Investigation Team of the NCB has summoned Aryan Khan in connection with the drugs on cruise case.
Mumbai: The Special Investigation Team of the Narcotics Control Bureau on Sunday (November 7) summoned Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan for questioning in connection with the drugs on cruise ship case, according to ANI. Last month, Aryan was detained and later arrested following NCB’s raid on the luxury cruise. He walked out of Mumbai’s Arthur Road Central Jail after spending 22 days behind the bars.
The anti-drugs law enforcement agency also issued a summon to Arbaz Seth Merchant and Achit Kumar to appear before the officials. They have reached the NCB office to record their statement, as per a report in ANI.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the NCB reached Mumbai on Saturday (November 6), a day after the federal agency transferred the probe in six cases, including the drugs on cruise ship case, to it.
The newly constituted SIT is headed by senior IPS officer Sanjay Kumar Singh. The NCB issued a statement, stating that team will take over the six cases from the Mumbai Zonal Unit of the agency.
In its statement, the agency mentioned the SIT will investigate the cases, which have 'national and international ramifications'.
Aryan Khan's Bail Conditions
The Bombay High Court had granted bail to Aryan on a personal bond of Rs 1 Lakh. According to his bail conditions, the 23-year-old has to visit the NCB office every Friday between 11am to 2pm. He was also directed to surrender his passport before the officials.
