'Animal' Actor Anshul Chauhan Says Sandeep Reddy Vanga Is A 'Perfectionist', Calls Ranbir Kapoor A 'Superstar For All Right Reasons'
Anshul Chauhan essayed the role of Ranbir Kapoor's sister in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's blockbuster and much-talked-about drama 'Animal', that is raging at the box-office.
New Delhi: Anshul Chauhan is one of those actors who believes in letting her work speak for itself. The actress, who made her acting debut with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' in 2017, is riding high on success courtesy her back-to-back performances in 'Tejas' and 'Animal'. Anshul has also worked in 'Zero' and the web-series 'Soulmates.'
Anshul essayed the role of an Air Force Pilot alongside Kangana Ranaut in 'Tejas'. The actress won hearts with her realistic performance, outshining Kangana in many places. She essayed the role of Ranbir Kapoor's sister in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's blockbuster and much-talked-about drama 'Animal', that is raging at the box-office.
In an exclusive interview with ABP Live, the actress shared her thoughts on the film's success, her experience of working with Ranbir Kapoor, her view of director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and much more.

How did acting happen for you?
My journey has been very long. I moved to Bombay eight years ago in July 2016. It has been quite a long and tiring journey but I have always loved performing arts so I am here. My love for acting and exploring its different facets is what has brought me here.
'Animal' has turned out to be one of the biggest grossers of the year. How do you feel being a part of it?
Thanking my stars everyday. This is the biggest project of my career so far. Just being a part of such a massy successful film is a privilege for me at the moment.

You have once again delivered an impactful performance in the film despite less screen time. What is your funda behind picking up any role?
I did this film for Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and if at all my performance was impactful, the credit goes to my co-actors and the director. There is no funda for me to pick up roles, whatever I resonate with I take it up. I follow my gut and go with it.
Your experience of working with Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
He is very good and I did this film for him. He is a perfectionist and he has the eye for every minute detail that is there in the frame.
You essayed the role of Ranbir's on-screen sister. How was it with him on the sets?
The journey was really nice. He makes your job easier. He is a really kind and giving person. He is the superstar, in my opinion, for all the right reasons.

On the work front, Anshul Chauhan will next be seen in Anushka Sharma starrer 'Chakda Xpress', that is slated to release on the streaming platform Netflix in 2024.
