New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar tested positive for COVID-19. The ‘Ram Setu’ actor shared the news of him testing positive for coronavirus on his social media and informed that he has quarantined himself and is following all the protocols.

The ‘Bell Bottom’ actor shared a note which read, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon!”

As soon as this news broke out, fans and known personalities started pouring in wishes for Akshay Kumar for his speedy recovery.

Home Minister Anil Deshmukh tweeted and wrote, “Wishing the speediest of recoveries to you @akshaykumar Ji from Covid19. Get well soon!”

Riteish Deshmukh also tweeted, “Get well soon Sundi - love you @akshaykumar”.
