Actor Akshay Kumar Tests Positive For Coronavirus, Goes Into Isolation

The number of COVID-19 cases in the country is increasing day by day. This has affected the tinsel town celebs as well. Even after following all the precautionary measures, many Bollywood celebrities including Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aaryan and others have tested positive for COVID-19. It is now Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor took to his social media to inform about the same.

Akshay Kumar shared a note which read, "I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon!"

The 'Bell Bottom' actor has been very busy shooting for his upcoming projects ever since the nationwide lockdown was lifted. Recently, Khiladi Kumar took to his social media and informed that he has begun shooting for his 'most special' film 'Ram Setu' and wrote, "The journey of making one of the most special films for me begins today. #RamSetu shooting begins! Playing an archaeologist in the film. Would love to hear your thoughts on the look? It always matters to me @Asli_Jacqueline @Nushrratt @Abundantia_Ent @LycaProductions".

Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha have also been shooting with Akshay Kumar on 'Ram Setu'.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, other than 'Ram Setu', Akshay Kumar has ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Bell Bottom’, ‘Prithviraj’ and ‘Bachchan Pandey’ in his kitty.
