Akshay Kumar interviews PM: Twinkle Khanna reacts on Modi mentioning her saying "wo mere oopar gussa nikaalti hain"

Akshay Kumar interviewed Prime Minister Modi and the mention of Twinkle Khanna came up while they were discussing social media

Akshay Kumar interviewed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in the "candid and completely non political"(actor referred to it as) conversation, the two spoke on various topics including family, hobbies and even cracked jokes. During the long conversation, there was also a mention of Akshay's actress-turned-author wife Twinkle Khanna's name. While talking about using social media and keeping track on the activities happening online, PM Modi told Akshay- "Social media se kayi jaankariyaan milti hain. Aur mai aapka bhi twitter dekhta hun aur aur twinkle khanna ji ka bhi twitter dekhta hun. Aur kabhi kabhi to mujhe lagta hai ki wo jo mere oopar gussa nikalti hain twitter pe to uske kaaran aapke pariwaarik jeewan mei badi shaanti rehti hogi[Akshay laughs]. Unka poora gussa mere par nikal jaata hoga. Isiliye aapko badaa araam-sukoon milta hoga. Toh mai aapke liye is prakaar se kaam aaya hun, khaaskar ke Twinkle ji ke liye!" And here's how the very witty and smart wifey of Akshay's reacted to Modi mentioning that "she takes out all her anger at him[Modi] and which must maintain peace in the family". She wrote on Twitter as a reply to BJP's official handle's tweet quoting Modi on Twinkle- "I have a rather positive way of looking at this-Not only is the Prime Minister aware that I exist but he actually reads my work :) [folded hands emoji]". VIDEO: When PM Modi cracked a joke and made Akshay Kumar laugh PM also went on to narrate a story of how he had met once the maternal grand father (Nana) of Twinkle's, Gujarati entrepreneur Chunnibhai Kapadia. Modi adds- "Aur shayad Twinkle ji ko pataa nahi hoga, unke Nana Chunnibhai, unse mai mila tha...bohot pehle! Aur kaaran kya tha..ye badaa interesting hai.. Gujarat mei ek bohot badaa akaal padaa tha toh hum log kuchh na kuchh samaajik kaam karte thae.. Usmei hum logon ko.. butter milk ke kendra chalaate thae.. chhaachh peene ke garmi mei logo ko.. toh wo moolya Suryanagar ziley mei bohot badi maatra mei hum karte thae. Toh us ek kaaryakram mei..mumbai mei ek sajjan thae mithai ke bohot bade vyapaari thae.. naam to mai bhool gaya! Wo unko(Chunnibhai) laaye thae! Aur unhone donation bhi diya tha. Aur hamne aise[gestures in the air] chhaanchh kendra chalu kiye thae...butter milk ke.. bohot badi maatra mei. Jaise paani ki ___rehti hai waise chhaachh ki___rehti hai...aur har gareeb vyakti ko! Toh us samay mai us sewa ke kaam mei laga tha. Aur us samay inke nanaji wahan aaye thae! Toh us samay meri unse mulaqaat huyi thi. Kaafi baatein huyin thee unke sath! Badaa us prakaar se unse parichay raha hai " Akshay: "toh aap khud bhi parhte ho(social media) aur logo ko....." Modi: "Bilkul parhta hun aur majaa leta hun[laughs]" Click Here! to watch Modi talking to Akshay Kumar on various topics!
