After Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt Tests Positive For COVID-19; Reveals Will Be Under Home Quarantine

Last month, Ranbir Kapoor's mother Neetu Singh informed the fans that the 'Barfi' actor had tested positive for the virus.

Mumbai: The number of COVID-19 cases has witnessed a surge in the past few weeks. Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has also tested positive for the virus. The ‘Kalank’ star’s boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor had contracted Coronavirus last month. His mother Neetu Singh shared a post on social media to inform the fans that the ‘Sanju’ actor was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Alia Bhatt was present on the sets of ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ when her COVID-19 test reports arrived, as per recent reports. The cast and crew were reportedly shooting for a song in Mumbai.

While Neetu Singh shared a post to inform fans about Ranbir’s health, Alia has confirmed the development through an Instagram story.

Earlier in the day, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted outside a dubbing studio in Mumbai. Ranbir made his second public appearance after recovering from COVID-19.

Alia underwent a COVID-19 test after her beau Ranbir was diagnosed with the virus. She resumed work after observing self-quarantine and consulting her doctor.

On the professional front, Alia will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The much-awaited film will hit the silver screens on July 30, 2021. The teaser of the film has received a good response from the audience.

The ‘Student of the Year’ actress also has ‘RRR’ and ‘Brahmastra’ in her kitty. She will be seen sharing screen-space with Ranbir in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’.
