'Malang', 'Chhalaang' & Anurag Basu's Next Get New Release Dates!

The three films - 'Chhalaang', 'Malang' and Anurag Basu's untitled project, have created a huge buzz and fans are waiting for their releases.

'Malang’, 'Chhalaang' and Anurag Basu's utitled multi-starrer movie are one of the most-anticipated films of 2020. The three films have created a huge buzz and fans are waiting for their release. However, 'Malang' Chhalaang' as well as Anurag Bashu's films have now got new release dates. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media account and shared the news with his followers. Mohit Suri directorial 'Malang', featuring Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu, has been preponed by a week and will now release on 7th February. 'Malang' is produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan, Ankur Garg and Northern Lights Entertainment’s Jay Shewakramani. ‘Chhalaang’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha will now release on 13th March. Directed by Hansal Mehta, 'Chhalaang' produced by ADF Films and Luv Films and presented by T-Series.

T-Series and Anurag Basu’s much-awaited film which was earlier scheduled to release on 13th March will now release on 24th April. Anurag Basu's film features Abhishek Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra among others. The film will have four intersecting stories and it is not a sequel to the filmmaker's 2007 film 'Life In A...Metro' as speculated. The multi-starrer film will also have a bit of crime and dark humour in it. Commenting on this development, Luv Films' partner & producer Ankur Garg said in a statement, "Anurag Basu Sir and Bhushan ji were extremely gracious in accepting our request to shift their film's release for our film Chhalaang. As for Malang, Luv & Dinesh mutually agreed that it’s in the best interest of both films to avoid a clash. We are excited to share Malang with the audience a week prior and are positive this move will ensure the film gets a steadier presence at the box office." Stay tuned for more updates!
