Aditya Roy Kapur Opens Up On Stealing Ranveer Singh’s Girlfriend: ‘I Didn’t Know How He Felt’

New Delhi: Ranveer Singh and Aditya Roy Kapur have never shared the screen together but, they were classmates during their college days. Back in 2017, when the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor appeared in Neha Dhupia’s chat show, he revealed that during college days his girlfriend broke up with him because she wanted to be with the ‘Fitoor’ actor. Ranveer disclosed on Neha Dhupia's show, “He was like every girl’s fantasy in junior college and the girl that I was crazy about that time who is now married with a kid, so she, I was really like, this is like, I was mad about her. It was a good 4-5 years that I was crazy over her. And then she finally broke up with me. It was in order to move onto a certain Aditya Roy Kapur.” The ’Sadak 2’ actor now finally opened up and said that he does not want to be burdened with the tag of ‘girlfriend stealer’ while interacting with Mumbai Mirror. Aditya was quoted saying by the publication, “Maybe, I didn’t know how he felt”. He further claimed that he did not steal Ranveer’s girlfriend, “Only around eight months after that, did I start seeing her.” Ranveer Singh is now married to the love of his life Deepika Padukone. The two tied the knot in November 2018 at Lake Como, Italy. The couple starred together in films like ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’. Ranveer-Deepika will soon be seen on-screen again in the upcoming biography of Kapil Dev, ‘83’ where the ‘Cocktail’ actress will be seen illustrating the role of the cricketer’s wife and Ranveer will be portraying the role of the former Indian captain. Aditya Roy Kapur, on the professional front, was last seen in Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Sadak 2’ alongside Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt. He will next be seen in Anurag Basu’s ‘Ludo’ which will release on the OTT platform Netflix on November 13, 2020.
