Auto-driver who was rammed by singer Aditya Narayan's car is still in critical condition. According to the reports, auto driver is not able to identify his family members due to his brain injury. According to entertainment portal SpotboyE, auto-rickshaw driver 'Rajkumar Baburao Palekar hasn’t shown the slightest of movement. He hasn’t uttered a word since the accident, nor has he identified any of his family members.' Surekha Ankush Shivekar, 32, and 64-year-old autorickshaw driver Rajkumar were admitted to Kokilaben Hospital where the treatment is going on. On 12th March, Aditya Narayan, son of the famous singer Udit Narayan was arrested by Versova police (Mumbai) after his Mercedes car hit an auto driver at Lokhandwala, Mumbai. Aditya told news agency IANS, “From the lady’s mobile phone, I could call up her boss in a beauty parlour where she works and they got in touch with Shivekar’s brother and they all turned up at the hospital. Then, I quickly rushed home to arrange funds for their treatment… I have decided to bear the full medical expenses of the injured victims, including the widow Shivekar, who is likely to be discharged today. The auto-rickshaw driver’s treatment is likely to continue,”. Aditya said he was charged under Section 337 of Motor Vehicles Act — “no other offences” — and fined around Rs 10,000, and granted bail immediately, dismissing all speculation in the matter. Aditya Narayan family is bearing auto-driver's all medial treatment expenses.
