EXCLUSIVE: Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Good Friend' Sandip Ssingh Avoids ABP's Questions On 'Drug Angle'

Sandip Ssingh, who gave contrasting statements in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, evaded ABP News' questions.

New Delhi: Filmmaker Sandip Ssingh has come on the radar of the fans after the reports of him not remaining in touch with late Sushant Singh Rajput in the last ten months hit the internet. Sandip reportedly called the ambulance driver, who transported the ‘Dil Bechara’s body to Cooper hospital for post-mortem. He had shared a post on Instagram after Sushant’s untimely demise in which he spoke about memories of sharing an apartment with the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor and his former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande. Sandip claimed to be one of Sushant’s closest friends in his post, which grabbed the attention of the fans. The filmmaker, while talking to a portal, had said that he was first person, who reached the ‘Raabta’ actor’s house and stayed till the post-mortem was conducted. He even completed police formalities during the post-mortem. Contrary to his claims, SSR’s family’s lawyer Vikas Singh said that that no one from the actor’s family knew about Sandip.

ABP News’ correspondents spotted Sandip Ssingh at the Mumbai airport and they asked him questions related to Sushant. However, he chose not to say anything. He only said that he came from Delhi. He chose to dodge our question when we asked him about the CBI probe in Sushant’s case and whether he was summoned by the agency for interrogation. The Narcotics Control Bureau has registered a case against Rhea Chakraborty under NDPS Act on the basis of an Enforcement Directorate request to probe the drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. The ED wrote to the NCB after the agency got some leads related to alleged use of drugs in Rhea’s WhatsApp chat records. Sushant Singh Rajput's family friend Nilotpal Mrinal posted a tweet on his unverified Twitter handle, which grabbed several eyeaballs. He claimed that 'Sandeep has plans to leave India'. He did not mention a surname in his post. "Sandeep has plans to leave India and run away to London this month end. Visas and all are done," Nilotpal wrote on the micro-blogging site.
