Rhea Chakraborty Shares Video Of Father Getting Mobbed, Seeks Police Protection, Says 'How Is This Family Going To Live?'

Sushant Singh Rajput death case: Rhea Chakraborty has shared a video of her father Indrajit Chakraborty getting mobbed by media persons. She requested Mumbai Police to provide protection to her and her family.

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty has been hogging all the limelight ever since late Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh filed an FIR against her and others under various sections of the IPC at Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police station last month. Mr. Singh accused Rhea of threatening his son and keeping him away from his family. He made several serious allegations against the ‘Jalebi’ actress and her family members in his six-page FIR. Rhea had moved the Supreme Court, seeking transfer of the FIR registered against her in Patna to Mumbai. Last week, the top court dismissed Rhea’s plea and ordered a CBI probe into Sushant’s death case. Rhea has now shared a video on social media, requesting the Mumbai Police to provide her and her family protection. She said that there is a threat to their lives. She posted a video on Instagram to underline her claim. Her father Indrajit Chakraborty can be seen getting mobbed by news reporters in the short clip. Rhea wrote, “This is inside my building compound , The man in this video is my father Indrajit chakraborty ( retd . army officer). We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED , CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate. There is a threat to my life and my family’s life . We have informed the local police station and even gone there , no help provided . We have informed the investigation authorities to help us get to them, no help arrived .How is this family going to live ? We are only asking for assistance, to cooperate with the various agencies that have asked us. I request @mumbaipolice to please provide protection so that we can cooperate with these investigation agencies. In covid times , these basic law and order restrictions need to be provided. Thankyou.”
The Narcotics Control Bureau registered a case against Rhea Chakraborty and two others under NDPS Act on the basis of an ED request to probe the drug angle in Sushant’s death case. The ED had registered a case of money laundering on July 31 against the 'Chehre' actress on the basis of Sushant's father's FIR. KK Singh has alleged that Rs 15 crores were transferred from his son's bank account to other accounts, which were not related to the 'Dil Bechara' actor.
