Aamir Khan’s next project, 'Lal Singh Chaddha', which was announced on his birthday this year, is the official remake of 1994 cult classic 'Forrest Gump'. In the film, the actor will be seen playing the titular role, which was essayed originally by Tom Hanks. It is for happening for the very first time in Bollywood that a classic film-like 'Forrest Gump' is being officially remade. In the past, many filmmakers had approached the original makers to buy the rights for the film. But the makers were keen on the fact they would agree only if Aamir Khan comes on board keeping in mind the quality of Cinema and no one but the 'Dangal' would do full justice to the film.
