Title 'Lal Singh Chaddha' & featuring Aamir Khan in lead role, Hindi remake of Tom Hanks' 'Forrest Gump' will release on Christmas 2020.

Aamir Khan’s next project, 'Lal Singh Chaddha', which was announced on his birthday this year, is the official remake of 1994 cult classic 'Forrest Gump'. In the film, the actor will be seen playing the titular role, which was essayed originally by Tom Hanks. It is for happening for the very first time in Bollywood that a classic film-like 'Forrest Gump' is being officially remade. In the past, many filmmakers had approached the original makers to buy the rights for the film. But the makers were keen on the fact they would agree only if Aamir Khan comes on board keeping in mind the quality of Cinema and no one but the 'Dangal' would do full justice to the film. One of the finest actors, Aamir Khan met the makers and initiated the talk of the film. The actor is known to invest dedicated time to every project he signs and brings the best out of it with immense perfection and Zeal. It took more than five years to finalize the deal. Apparently, Aamir is leaving no stone unturned and developing this film to his best. On Aamir Khan's birthday, the actor announced his upcoming film, 'Lal Singh Chaddha' as his next which has already been creating the buzz as one of the most awaited projects and is set to release on Christmas, the next year 2020.
