'Fake Singer, Irresponsible Act': Mika Singh Slams Diljit For Collaborating With Pakistani Actor In ‘Sardaar Ji 3’

Singer Mika Singh has strongly criticised Diljit Dosanjh for featuring Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in his upcoming film 'Sardaar Ji 3'.

New Delhi: Amid the controversy surrounding the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in 'Sardaar Ji 3', popular Indian singer Mika Singh has publicly criticised Diljit Dosanjh for what he deems an "irresponsible" move. Taking to Instagram Stories, Mika shared a strong statement condemning the collaboration.

The backlash follows the release of Diljit Dosanjh's upcoming film 'Sardaar Ji 3' trailer, unveiled on Sunday. The trailer was met with instant criticism online, particularly for Diljit working with a Pakistani actor, Hania Aamir, amid ongoing India-Pakistan tensions.

Mika Singh Targets Diljit Dosanjh

Joining the chorus of disapproval, Mika Singh posted a statement titled Desh Pehle (Nation First). Without naming names directly, the singer took a pointed dig: “Guys, as we all know, the relationship between India and Pakistan isn’t going well right now. Yet some people continue to act irresponsibly. Before releasing any content that involves artists from across the border, they should think twice, especially when our nation’s dignity is involved,” he wrote.

He went on to reference a previously controversial project featuring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor, stating, “There was a film featuring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor that many of us opposed, and yet, some still don’t seem to get the message.”

In a sharper remark, Mika added, “What’s more shocking is that a fake singer, after doing 10 shows in India with thousands of fans buying tickets, has now disappeared, leaving fans betrayed and helpless.”

Though Mika refrained from naming Diljit directly, the reference to a “fake singer” and images featuring both artists in the post made his target clear.

His statement has stirred further conversations about the responsibilities public figures bear, especially during politically sensitive times.

Meanwhile, singer B Praak, known for 'Mann Bharrya', also appeared to take a subtle swipe at Diljit. In a cryptic post, he remarked, “Kayi kalakaar apna zameer hi bech chuke ne, fittay muh tuhade,” hinting that certain artists have compromised their principles.
