Lata Mangeshkar Health Update: Doctors Request ‘Disturbing Speculation To Stop’, Says Didi Showing Improvement In ICU
According to the latest update received on behalf of the doctor who is treating Lata Mangeshkar, the veteran singer is showing signs of improvement.
New Delhi: The legendary singer of the country Lata Mangeshkar has been making the headlines since the last few days owing to her health issues. The veteran singer got admitted to the hospital earlier this month after she tested positive for COVID-19. Lata Mangeshkar reportedly contracted the virus from one of her house-helps.
A lot of speculations have been doing rounds in media related to Lata Mangeshkar’s health. Now, according to the latest update received on behalf of the doctor who is treating Lata Didi, the veteran singer is showing signs of improvement.
An update about her health has been tweeted from Lata Mangeshkar’s official Twitter account. In the tweet shared on the singer’s official page, the doctor requested the ‘disturbing speculation to stop’ and also informed that the singer is ‘showing signs of improvement’.
The tweet read, “Heartfelt request for the disturbing speculation to stop. Update from Dr Pratit Samdani, Breach Candy Hospital. Lata Didi is showing positive signs of improvement from earlier and is under treatment in the ICU. We look forward and pray for her speedy healing and homecoming.”
Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital after she tested positive for coronavirus. Lata Didi also reportedly is suffering from pneumonia, according to several media reports. She has been in ICU ever since she got admitted in the hospital and is under observation.
Meanwhile, Dr Pratit Samdani who is treating Lata Mangeshkar, earlier told in a statement to ANI that the veteran singer will take time recover owing to her old age. The doctor was quoted saying by ANI, “She will take time to recover due to her old age.”
