As per ETimes, the couple's wedding festivities continued from December 5-7 though the couple got married on December 3, 2022. In an interaction with the publication, Kunal spoke about his friendship with Mohit."After working together in the show Mohit and I became good friends and with time we are like brothers now. It was my duty to stand with him on his special day and cheer him on. I had met Steffi many times while they were dating and she became my rakhi sister. She is a beautiful lady and both of them respect me like an elder brother. Even their families welcomed us so beautifully. I felt like attending a family marriage and it will be a lifetime memory," he said.

Adding that this was Kunal's first time in Kolkata, he said, "I always wanted to visit Kolkata but the plans never settled before. But finally, I made my way to visit Kolkata. It’s a lovely place to be in. It was on the 2nd we landed here and on the 8th we departed back to Mumbai. I got less time but didn't miss the chance to explore the city. We went out to eat street food at Vardhan market, we had the famous phuchka’s and went to Flurys! We also visited the iconic Park Street. I'm sure to come back some other time to explore more as it was a small but an amazing experience."
