Kareena Kapoor Khan Is All Set To Be A Part Of Sujoy Ghosh's Upcoming Crime Mystery
Kareena Kapoor Khan is scheduled to return to the set a year after the birth of her second kid, Jehangir Ali Khan Pataudi.
Kareena Kapoor Khan's last film, Angrezi Medium, was well-received and fans have been anticipating her next movie for a long time. They were obviously ecstatic when word got out that she would be appearing in Sujoy Ghosh's forthcoming thriller.
When Sujoy announced the film back in 2015, he cast Saif Ali Khan in the film. Despite the fact that the film was never released, he remained committed to the story. And now, seven years later, he's resuming this intriguing project with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif's wife.
Speaking of the above movie, the upcoming crime thriller will also star Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma in key roles. The film is slated to hit shelves in March of this year. The report added that Kareena has already started preparing for her character. Given the present Covid scenario and enhanced safeguards, it may take longer to complete.
This movie is reported to be the Hindi version of Keigo Higashino's most appreciated novel: Devotion of Suspect X. Higashino's tale is about a single mother who murders her ex-husband accidentally.
With Kahaani (2012) and Badla (2013), Sujoy Ghosh has proven his skill in the mystery genre. The filmmaker is now ready to serve us another crime mystery.
The actress is also preparing for the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, her forthcoming film alongside Aamir Khan. The movie will be released in theatres on April 14, 2022.
