New Delhi: A number of Bollywood actors and actresses have been at the center of money laundering investigations in recent years, particularly in relation to the con artist Sukesh Chandrasekhar. For quite some time, Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez has been in the spotlight due to her connection to the scandal.

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is unavoidably entangled in the Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. After it was claimed that she was dating Sukesh and intimate photos of the pair went viral online, the actress found herself in further trouble. Now, the most recent allegations claim that Jacqueline was really contemplating marrying the scam artist. 

Earlier on Wednesday, EOW spent eight hours questioning Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez at its headquarters about the matter. 

According to a news report by ANI, Sukesh Chandrashekhar was the "man of her dreams" for Jacqueline Fernandez. It was also stated by Special Commissioner of Police, EOW, Ravinder Yadav that the actress maintained contact with the conman even after his illegal actions were made public. The statement said, “There is more trouble for Jacqueline Fernandez as she did not cut ties with Sukesh Chandrasekhar even after knowing his criminal antecedents. But Nora Fatehi did disconnect herself once she suspected that something is fishy.”

The police have also recovered a Ducati superbike valued at roughly Rs 8 lakh from Jacqueline Fernandez's manager, Prashant, as part of their ongoing probe into the extortion case. The authorities also discovered that Sukesh Chandrashekhar, apparently using funds from the extortion, had given a motorcycle to the manager of the actress. 

It has been reported by ANI that Special Commissioner of Police (EOW) has said that Sukesh would attempt to influence the Bollywood stars due to his enormous fortune of properties obtained via extortion.
