‘Good Luck Jerry' Trailer OUT: Janhvi Kapoor Plays A Young Girl With Daring Attitude
‘Good Luck Jerry' Trailer OUT: Janhvi Kapoor's film gives us a taste of both the action and the humour.
New Delhi: Janhvi Kapoor has been gearing up for her upcoming film, Good Luck Jerry’ for a long time now. Directed by Siddharth Sen, the trailer of the film is finally out. Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Janhvi wrote, “FINALLY! Miliye Jerry se. Aur yaad rakhiye- hum jitne dikhte hain, utne hain nahi.”
The trailer gives us a taste of both the action and the humour. Indeed, Janhvi Kapoor captivates audiences with her acting and the way she delivers her lines.
Jaya Kumari, a young girl who goes to extraordinary lengths to rescue her dying mother, is the central character in the film, which depicts her problems in a lighthearted manner. There are many twists and turns in this voyage that provide for comical moments of mayhem and humour, though.
Janhvi, Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, and Sushant Singh feature in the film as meek but grittier characters.
As Jaya, an average girl from a tiny village in Bihar, Janhvi had to learn the accent in order to properly portray her character.
On July 29, the OTT platform will be hosting the premiere of GoodLuck Jerry, a dark comedy. Ek Villain Returns, starring Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, John Abraham, and Disha Patani, will be released in theatres on the same day as this movie, and it would be interesting to see how the two films compare with regard to audience attendance.
On the other hand, Janhvi is also starring with Varun Dhawan in the upcoming film ‘Bawaal’, which is directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It would be her first time working with the actor on a project like this.
