New Delhi: ‘Gandi Baat’ actress Gehana Vasisth was recently arrested by the Property Cell of the Crime Branch for her alleged role in shooting and uploading porn videos on a website. Reportedly, the actress will be produced before the court in Mumbai today. Well, this is not the first time the actress has made it to the headlines, she has an old relationship with controversies.

Here’s all you need to know about Gehana Vasisth:

• Gehana Vasisth is the ‘Gandi Baat’ actress’ stage name. Her original name stands Vandana Tiwari. She is known by her nickname ‘Zindagi’ amongst her friends.
• She was born in Chirmiri, Chhattisgarh on June 16, 1988, and has three siblings – one younger sister and two younger brothers.
• The actress has an Engineering degree in Computer Science and has done her schooling from Chirmiri and Bhopal.
• Gehana got her first modelling advertisement for an established clothing brand. She also appeared in more than 80 advertisements.
• Vasisth won the Miss Asia Bikini contest in the year 2012 and was selected as the bikini model to represent the country.
• Gehana Vasisth first appeared in a movie called ‘Filmy Duniya’ as a lead actress. She has also appeared in Telugu cinema.
• The actress gained recognition when she appeared in the ALT Balaji web series ‘Gandi Baat’ Season 3.
• Gehana also did a role in the serial ‘Behenein’ which aired on Star Plus.
• In the year 2012, Gehana was attacked and beaten up by a group of people as she wrapped the tricolour under her waist. However, later it was alleged that it was a publicity stunt and the attackers were paid to condemn her act reportedly.
• Gehana also launched her mobile application where she posted her bold videos and has also appeared in the Ullu app.
• While filming a web series, Gehana suddenly fell unconscious as she suffered a cardiac arrest resulting from a severe stroke and low blood pressure in 2019.
