Garba Track From Alia Bhatt’s Movie 'Gangubai Kathiawadi’ Is Out

New Delhi: Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has shared a glimpse of his new composition 'Dholida' from his upcoming film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' starring Alia Bhatt.

'Dholida', a celebratory Garba number from the film will see Gangubai dancing to the tunes of dhol, making it the festive anthem of the year.

Bhansali's music composition along with lyrics penned by Kumaar capture the true essence of Garba. The foot tapping number has been sung by Jahnvi Shrimankar and Shail Hada, and choreographed by Kruti Mahesh.

With this beautiful track, Bhansali has really got the whole of India dancing to his beats all over again.

In the video, Bhatt can be seen in a white sari and bold makeup, with roses in her hair, walking in the middle and dancing with other women. Bhansali's music, together with Kumaar's words, ignites the mood of Garba. 

Taking to Instagram, the diva shared the first image of herself as Gangubai, draped in a lovely white saree, performing on Garba against the crowded background of Kamathipura.

In the post of Alia’s new music video, she wrote, "An absolute dream come true to dance on SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI’s music. My heart forever beats to #DHOLIDA"

The film, which also stars Ajay Devgn and Vijay Raaz, will be released in theatres on February 25, 2022. Fans can’t keep calm to watch Alia in Gangubai’s character. 

In addition to Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia's other upcoming films are Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Darlings, RRR, and Brahmastra.
