Actor Shahid Kapoor has disclosed that his eight-year-old daughter Misha is the reason he decided to give up smoking.
Shahid featured on 'No Filter Neha' season 6, a podcast in which actress Neha Dhupia engages in thought-provoking discussions with her colleagues and fellow-actors from the industry.
During the show, Shahid shared about his decision to quit smoking: "When I used to smoke, I would hide from my daughter and smoke. That is actually the reason I gave it up; one day, while I was hiding and having my smoke, I told myself that I am not going to do this forever. And that is actually the day I decided to quit smoking."
Mira Rajput and Shahid were wed in July 2015. Zain and Misha are the couple's children.
Shahid Kapoor most recently starred with Kriti Sanon in the science fiction romance comedy 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.'
