Mayank Mishra, DCP, Bahadurgarh, stated, "This is not a cylinder blast; this took place inside the bedroom. The whole house has been affected by the blast impact. Four people have died on the spot, and one person is critical and undergoing treatment at a hospital. The four deceased were family members...the forensic team is inside and trying to figure out the cause of the blast..."

"The cylinder is intact, AC unit is quite damaged, but we can't say if this is an AC blast at this time...we will call the blast analysis expertise division now; with their and the FSL team's input, we will deliberate on the situation," he added, as per news agency ANI.

9 workers wounded in explosion at Tata Steel plant in Odisha
In a separate incident, nine workers were wounded due to a sudden explosion at the steel melting shop of Tata Steel's Kalinganagar plant in Odisha's Jajpur district on Friday. The incident took place at about 11.30 am, police informed, as per news agency PTI.
The injured persons were rushed to the hospital and one of them was discharged after first aid, as per a company release. It further informed that everyone was out of danger.
An investigation has been launched to probe the cause of the explosion.
